Yesterday I went and walked around a lot. For like 5 hours. I've had some really good mochas, there coffee isn't too great though. I had lunch at the Hard Rock Cafe which is in Temple Bar. Temple Bar is a lot like Little 5 Points, it's kind of grungy, it has a lot of bars and music places, kind of alternative but really cool. At the Hard Rock there is this black polo that says 71 on the breast and Hard Rock Cafe Dublin on the sleeve. It's really nice but costs like 45 euros. I want one but that's a lot. Someone ask Sandra if she wants me to buy one for her. Ahh that place was really expensive but I got a really cute HRC Dublin Leprechaun pin.
I've felt really safe and I was only hit on by some college kids in Trinity College who called me a 'pretty girl'. There are about a million tourists here, mostly american but quite a few Germans. I spoke to them, the germans thought I was Swiss and the Swiss thought I was Irish! Trinity College is neat, it's the sight of one of the oldest monastarys in the country. I went on part of a tour but then I met these guys from UGA and I walked with them for a while around Dublin Castle. One was doing that thing Mel did in Italy but he's doing it in Venice? The other was just visiting.
By then I was really feeling the jetlag and I came back to sleep for a few hours. At 8 I woke up and talked to these cute polish guys who are looking for work but staying in my hostel right now. I walked around down to the River Liffey and then back up. This place rolls up shop by 8 and the only things that are open are the pubs and those are crowded! I finally went to Jury's Inn (a hotel) and got a mocha and atched part of the Sweden v. Paraguay game.
There are several really cool people in my room, which is on the 5th!!!! floor. There are Katy and Paul who are from TN and ME and have bee packpacking for 2 months, there friend Liz from TN who just got here, and these two guys from Indiana ho just got here. There was also this Irish guy but he got in late and left early. We spent forever talking, so I was tired this morning.
I got up at 7 and went running down to the River Liffey and back. That was cool because there are no tourists up that early, just a bunch of Irish people. The traffic ifs horrendous!!!!!!!! I swear, it's worse than Atls. Not only are there a lot of cars but there are a lot of buses and people that walk to work. The clothes are really cool, very european in the younger generation, but the older people could have been from the US. I got a lot of weird looks, not a lot of people run here I guess. Yesterday I only saw a few.
Today I think I'm going to do the Wilcox tour? I dunno. I'm going to walk around for a while and figure that out. but first I'm hungry and I want breakfast.
Oh, I can't upload pics on tis computer because it's too old but I will go to an internet cafe and do that later.

LOVE Y'ALL!
Logan.

How Lovely!!
It sounds like you are having a great time and behaving yourself. It is weird that when we get up you are already into your day. When Mel was in Italy it was strange like that. By now it is late afternoon and you leave for Germany already tomorrow. How are you getting around and how do you know where to go? Keep having a good time and like Mel said watch out for your valuables.
Love, Tante
