Today had to be the best and the worst day of the tour so far all rolled in to one.

This morning when I woke up I found out the news about Mia. I couldn't help but be upset and it made it so hard that I couldn't be home with my girls and be there to reassure Lisa though that everything will be ok. It was good to know that friends and family would be there for her and look after her so well.

Today was a day off and I was quite excited as we had hired a convertible Ford Mustang for the day and we were heading into Joshua Tree National Park for the day.

We arrived at the car rental to pick up the car and it was even better than we thought. Nearly brand new Mustang with only 4,000 miles on the clock, electric roof and didn't even have to fill the tank up when we returned it in the morning.

As soon as I heard we had a day off here I knew I wanted to go to Joshua Tree again as when I came with Lisa, Sus & Chris was such a great day and today definitely didn't disappoint. It was so much fun driving though the park with the roof down stopping at all the rock formations and having a explore. We ended up finding a two mile trail at one point that you could walk. The views were just breath taking and was great to share with other friends what I had experienced before.

The day was topped of by going for dinner at Outback which is an Australian-themed restaurant. I had a BBQ meat grill, it consisted of Chicken, Ribs & Prawns. Was one of the best meals I've had out here!
