Milano.... shopping, culture or the lakes?

I arrived in Milan Thursday from Venice. Anywhere other than Venice is a bit of a letdown so I will try not to judge Milan too harshly...
Now what to do first.... shop, see the Last Supper or head to Lake Como? Decisions, decisions... first though I'm off for dinner to think it through. More later...
Dinner was nice near La Scala Opera House (closed for summer). The weather has been beautiful and it is nice to be out and about in summer clothes again.
On Friday I wandered around the town on and off trams and trains and made the best of my time. As it is August most of Milan is closed for summer so a lot of the zing is missing.
It's dinner time again.... off out and about to find something nice to eat.
Tomorrow... maybe Lake Como?
