Sunday in Vienna started out overcast with a high forecast of rain. Ummmm I don't know who does the weather forecast here but it's been sunny and hot all day. I've had to come back to my room as it got just too hot. I'm resting then I'll hit the streets later for my last night in Vienna.

My day started with a visit to Schonbrunn Palace but.... the queue to get in was crazy! It was also hot and sunny and a lot of the queue was out in the sun. I figured I had better things to do that so to Plan B.

Plan B was a visit to Wein Museum and luckily free on the first Sunday of each month. Just as well as their main pictures are in Melbourne!! Soooo a bit disappointed the Secessionist display was a bit light on.... so on to Plan C.

Plan C was a visit to the Belvedere - also known for it's Sucessionist works and even though some have been sent to Melbourne they still had a heap on display. The best known is the Kiss... absolutely beautiful, huge, so golden and amazing! A room full of Klimts was fab. Also another few rooms of Scheile's etc rounded off my Vienna art session.

Believe it or not... that was all before lunch!

Lunch found me once again at the Schmetterling haus and sitting at the cafe out the front. The view of Viennese & toursists playing in the sunshine was fab.

Now about that rest.... back later!!
