London to Beijing about 9 hours.
A chance to visit terminal 5, lets hope they have got the baggage sorted by now.
Very civilized flight time - take off at 16.50 and land at 9.30 the next day. Time for a drink, supper and a glass of wine, a chat, a film, maybe two and sleep.
Then it is time to disembark and get on with the sight seeing.
Thanks to heroic efforts and little bit of luck we get an upgrade to Club Class - bliss good food, wonderful service from the BA ladies and a chance to try out those lying down beds.
