Finally able to get in a 1st class 'wagen' (car)...FYI: Eurail passes are a joke!

Arrived in Innsbruck, at the foot of the Austrian Alps around 2 pm and it was probably 85* Fahrenheit! (around 29-30 Celsius)
This is the most amazing place I had ever seen!
Our little hotel (Weisses Kreus) was in the cutest little pedestrian area in the heart of the 'Aldstat' (old towne)
Planned on dining at the very top of 'Nordpark', but it began to rain so we decided to wait till morning...ate just outside our hotel
Sooooooo glad we did...
Half way up was bad enough!
It really was incredible at the rocky top...almost surreal. I ski, and I have never seen anything like this view! There was something about being at the top in the warmer weather, when the alpine flowers are in bloom between the rocks and the hikers/climbers are all about...and just across on the next mountain are snow skiers..
ps...crazy 'f-ers' were jumping OFF the mountain top!

Norman, here are a few train pics for you...
