Speedy train to Brussels...

Arrived in Brussels around early evening and hurried to the Hotel La Legende to freshen up...   
  

   

 The tiny 'Maneken Pis' fountain is very famous here???
    


    


Headed right out to the  'Gran Pla',...the most amazing square I had ever seen! 

  


        We had a huge pot of 'mussels in brussels' at The Rose Blanc, one of many outdoor cafes right in the square...
   (notice our waiters to the right behind Sarah...they were great!)   
              





After dinner, strolled through the cobblestone streets of Brussels and bought a 'Belgian Waffle' from a street vendor...
it had sliced strawberrries & bananas and was topped with vanilla ice cream, chocolate sauce & whipped cream! Heaven!
     Off to Amsterdam in the morning!
