Today the boy's actually came to our room to wake us up at 6am. Jon and I were hoping for a few more hours but an early start turned out to be a good thing. Ate breakfast at the Lismonye walked about 10 min to the train station to catch a train to Salisbury. Arrived in Salisbury just in time to catch a tour bus to Stonehenge. Double decker red bus to Stonehenge where we all debated the reason and origin of it. Jon and boys think aliens but I think it was a tourist attraction made 5000 years. I think it is the original " if you build it, they will come". Beautiful and had a great time. After the tour of Stonehenge, the bus dropped us off in the city of Salisbury where we walked the streets of this quaint town. Went to the Salisbury Cathedral to visit our ancestor Lord John Cheney and the Magna Carta. Arrived back in Fleet in time for Tea at Deni's house with Judy and her grandaughter Stephanie. Lovely visit in Deni's home with yummy cake and tea, Jon , Erik and Deni drove to Mum's childhood home so they could visit. The man who lives there now is a beekeeper. He kindly let them tour the home and grounds unforturnately, bees know that Jon hates them and he got stung in the arm and lip OUCH. The man gave him antihistimine and all is good. Long but fun day, we will hopefully get together with Melanie in London. We were too tired to meet up tonight and is was a work day for her. Off to London tomorrow. Had a wonderful time in Fleet meeting family and visiting. We will be back. Fleet is a very nice town, not far from London or Salisbury.
