Our flight to North Carolina took a little over four hours. There was a little turbulence as we approached Charlotte, NC in flight but nothing too serious.

At Charlotte, we had to go through the customs procedure once again - after all we were coming from Costa Rica.

I found the customs people to be very rude in Charlotte. They basically treated everyone like cattle headed to the slaughter. Move, Move... !!!! I hated going through customs in Charlotte. Also, they asked a ton of questions. I was so happy to get through customs. I noticed they were treating everyone pretty much the same way.

From the little I felt the weather (boarding and getting off the plane), you could tell it was rainy and wet in this city. It was better than snow though.. :)

Once on the plane, the starter was having problem. The pilot said that since it was so cold out that there were tons of planes that night having problems with starting their planes. Our flight was therefore delayed around 20 minutes for them to get the plane started. This reminded us of our trip to Tampa (starter problems there as well).

We were happy to be on our next journey to Syracuse... and tired at the same time..
