During my bike ride, I also came across two snakes on the side of the road that had been hit. It's too bad that the snakes got hit by a car.
Snakes have a very bad reputation in Costa Rica. People are killing them all the time. There is a big myth in Costa Rica that many people believe (which is not true). It is written in books though so many people actually believe it
During my bike ride, I also noticed tons of lots for sales. There is no shortage of land for sale here.
The beach in Manzanillo is very beautiful. It was not too busy so that was great. I just walked around the beach a bit and then decided to start my bike ride back to the cottage.
Back at the cottage, I rested a bit and then went to the grocery store with Joanne to get some food for breakfast. Joanne made me an excellent breakfast this morning.
I decided to get my hair shaved today. I mentioned (think it was Jaco) that I was planning to get my hair cut before but did not know I would actually do it. Well, today I actually did it. I am no longer a slave to my hair. I won't need to dye it anymore. It feels great by the way!!!
We are currently at the Veggie Restaurant working on our blog and checking out our e-mail.
It is currently 2:40 pm so I will close for now..
Once we returned to the cottage, we rested a bit.
Since today was my last day to have the bike, I decided to go for one last bike ride. I just went for a short one before I returned it back to the shop.
At the cottage, Joanne and I picked some Star Fruit from the tree in our cottage rental yard. Joanne makes a tasty juice with it. She says it is good for us. :)
We are currently at the Veggie Restaurant using the free internet once again. Next time, I would like to make sure our rental place has internet. It would be much more convenient than having to come to this restaurant and sit in the dark.
Will close again for tonight.. It is currently 5:35 pm... Adios... :)
