Where I stayed
There were some good points to the day like attending "The Legend of Neil" panel, the variety of costumes, visiting with my best friend and her family and touring the U.S.S. Hampton submarine.
There was only one bad point and that was waiting in line for two and a half hours to get into Hall H only to be denied entry because the hall was full. We arrived early again, went to breakfast and headed for the Hall H line. We figured there would be a line but we didn't expect it to be so long. As we neared the entry area we saw that "The Maze" was already full of people and that the line had continued across the street to the neighboring green space that separated the convention center from the water. We took our place in line and crossed our fingers that we would be able to get into the Green Lantern/Harry Potter panel
Alas, no luck because the hall became full before we could get back across the street. We did learn though that to get into the hall one pretty much had to be within "The Maze" and not across the street. If you did get caught across the street then the further away from "The Maze" you were, the chances of getting in began to diminish rapidly and if you were on the other side of the berm where we were, the chance of getting in pretty much disappeared.
Soooooo back inside we went and managed to get a glimpse of the "Chuck" cast signing autographs. After walking the floor for a couple of hours disappointed that we were not able to get into Hall H, we met up with my best friend Sherry and her family for lunch and then Patrick's friend Rich gave us a tour of a 688-I class nuclear submarine. Getting off of the Con grounds for those couple of hours was a relief since we had spent three days in the area already.
Heading out tomorrow bright and early!
