We hadn't been back to Bali for a while and were looking forward to the trip. The people always make such a difference and the Balinese have welcoming down to a fine art.

Easy first few days at the Hyatt (looking a bit tired and in need of a renovation) and astounded to see the "folks from a certain western-European nation" down on the beach at 6am putting their bags and towels on the beach charis and then heading back to their rooms. Morning runs were filled with amazement as I saw this all along the beach at every hotel I ran past. Oh well...
