Well my wonderful family and friends, the time that I have awaited for a long time now has arrived. Early tommorow morning I will be boarding a plane to depart for my year long Study Abroad program in Spain. As long as I have waited for Tuesday (tommorow) to finally get here, it is still a very surreal feeling that I have right now about all this. I feel very fortunate that I had the opportunity to stay with my parents this last month and spend some good times with them and with old friends that I hadn't seen for a good while.  The last few days have involved A LOT of running around i.e. taking care of the seemingly endless last  minute details of a long term trip. Plane ticket-check, Student visa-check, ID and credit cards-check, a luggage that will most likely exceed the airline's weight limit-check. Last item on the list is make my flight! Anyways, I will have A LOT more to talk about by the next time you all hear from me.

Abrazos!!

Re: What's the equivalent of Bon Voyage?
Thanks for the sweet comments. I am now in Granada and things are going pretty well, a little homesick but we know that this is natural. I had a couple of bumps in the road as far as my flight(s) went: my flight from LA to Chicago was delayed which caused me to miss my flight from Chicago to Dublin so I had to book a different itinerary. This ultimately led to my luggage not arriving in Spain on Wednesday and I have only recieved one so far :0(. I have been told that the baggage should be here on Monday but who knows! More than anything it is just a major inconvienience but not the end of the world. Anyways, when I get a converter and adaptor for my laptop I am going to post a blog of everything that has been going on since I got here. So you will hear from me soon!
Luvs de RyGuy,

P.S-This place is beautiful!!
