Where I stayed
Sikanni River RV Park
Not a whole lot to report today. The day was cloudy, cold, about 45 degrees and it rained on and off. It was also windy, again, and as I have said it does not feel so good to have the trailer swinging around in the wind behind us.
We also had complete and utter sticker shock at the gas pump when gas was $1.19 a liter. So you don't have to do the math, it's about $4.80 a gallon. We had thought it expensive in Alberta, about $1.09/liter - we found out they have even higher taxes in British Columbia.
We ran into one guy who told us he had paid $1.57/liter - WOW - can't wait.
Stayed at a nice place next to the Sikanni River, no one there really and we had a nice evening.
Going to leave in the morning for Fort Nelson, a larger town farther north where we will wait for a few days until our mail arrives again.
Nice to hear from everyone, hard to answer as I don't always have a great connection - my cell phone works most of the time, texting me seems to be the easiest, Ken has had NO cell service since we left the states.
