Where I stayed
The highway is open all year. Not all services are available all year, and I can't imagine it being a great drive in the winter. We have already done the really high passes however. the highest pass on the highway is 4,250 feet, we were way higher than that when we were in the states. I'm loving that part. Ken also was chatting with one of our neighbor's yesterday (guy from the Netherland's) and he showed Ken how to get the sway bars up tighter
To the flat tire - as we parked the camper for the night and Ken was driving onto a board to help level the camper I noticed and then he noticed that one of the camper tires looked soft - sure enough he could hear air leaking out - we bought a tire warranty when we bought the camper so Ken got out the paperwork and started the phone calls and a guy came out and put the spare on. Ken has gone this morning to Canadian Tire (thank goodness this happened in a town of some size) to get it replaced.
Allison and I are going to go have our showers so we can be ready to go when he gets back. Was raining earlier, still looks cloudy but hopefully not as windy as yesterday. Not sure how far we will go today but we will know when we get there!
