Well, after being stranded for 24 hours in a snow storm, we decided to take our chances and venture on. The skies lightened up somewhat, the snow plows were working so off we went. It was a wicked drive, white out areas and lots of ruts on the road. I closed my eyes most of the way and left the driving to Gord. I'm not a winter driver, just a fair weather driver. A MH with summer tires and towing a jeep made for a slow ride.
But we made it to Fort Nelson in one piece and a jeep and MH covered in snow and ice. What a big mess. We decided to stay in a hotel as the RV parks were closed….plus we needed a shower. The MH was winterized when we left Kelowna so we were in real need of a shower after two nights at truck stops. The wine tasted awesome after that ride.
