as long as i can remember i loved taking pictures. i used to sneak around my house with my camera, pretending to be a detective, and take pictures of my parents in the kitchen or my sister playing with her toys. they never saw me comin...

i graduated with a photography minor from st joe's. the art department was a really amazing place. there was this little community. all these artsy kids and fun, cool teachers found a meeting ground within the jesuit business university. i learned a lot from my black and white photo teacher Susan and fell in love with printing and doing everything manually. Photography feels like cheating when I'm not creating with my hands. So when I came home for a visit, she let me use the dark room again.

to travel, take pictures, and print them all myself has always been a dream of mine. thanks susan!
