Where I stayed
Cracker Barrel in Pennsylvannia
well today we went to Philadelphia to go see a few things there. The first thing we saw was the Liberty Bell. Seeing the Liberty Bell was pretty cool i must say.I learned i lot of things. i did not know before i saw it. It is a lot different seeing it in person than the T.V. July 4th 1776,just after the Declaration of Independence was signed the people of Philadelphia cheered and rang the bell in the State building to signal the day of freedom from British rule. Philadelphia, Pennsylvania was the central place that the 13 colonies would meet. The Liberty Bell would then become a symbol of freedom for many other struggles. For example, President Lincoln would refer to the Liberty Bell to end slavery, and Martin Luther King Jr. made a remarkable speech using the symbol of freedom to ring loud and clear. After we saw the bell we saw the Independence Hall. Now that was my favorite part of Philadelphia. It was really interesting. We saw the place where the Declaration of Independence was signed and also the Constitution. A lot of history was there. After the independence Hall we went to a place to eat Cheese Steak Sandwiches (a philly steak). Oh that was so very good. The best one in the world. Then after the cheese steak we hurried to the Department of Treasury also known as the MInt Department of Treasury. That was also very interesting to see how all the coins are made. This one is one of 4 places they make coins. Then we headed to New York. We will stay at a R.V. park and hit New York tomorrow.
