So the ferry ride to Hvar was mainly a blur as I tried to rehydrate after the food poisoning incident, but once I got there, I started to feel much better real quick.. Our hotel was pretty money right in the center of town with a beach right up front and people just lying outside baking on any chair, bench, ground, sand, grass..you get the idea..available..

The cool thing about Hvar is that although it is a beach island, the whole place is extremely green and lush. So its actually good looking island as opposed to the lifeless cycladic islands of Greece that we were in. The center of the town is basically a 5 minute walk along the water..While walking to town though, all you see along the water are multi million dollar yachts pumping out music and neon lights and people raging on the boats. Thats definitely the right way to roll around here.. So after admiring lifestyles of the rich and famous, we checked our lonely planet guide to find a good place to chow in the "cheap eats" section...

Hvar is definitely a cool little island. Good mix of people from all over the world, but not overrun with annoying type of tourists.. Plus, the locals are still really friendly and the food is still awesome.. What more could you ask for?

I will definitely come back here. It would make a good yacht pit stop on the way from Monte Carlo to Santorini... Of course, to do that, I suppose I should be working rather than travelling...
