So we finally made it to Stockholm...A few things to note right away:
1) clearly, i'm one of the few non-viking looking people around
2) the sun here rises at 3am and sets at midnight..yes, you read that right..that's why all the swedish people seem to be more tan than we are..gotta work on that
3) the letter 'a' in swedish has all sorts of weird pronounciations depending on all these strange shapes that may be present above the 'a'. attempting to read and pronounce anything is completely futile..luckily, everyone here is completely fluent in english.
4) kebabs are a very cheap and tasty way to stay full.. there are as many kebab places here as there are starbucks at home..sort of like the weiner circle, but the service is not as entertaining.
apparently stockholm is a great city and there is a lot of natural beauty..so far, we've been to all the bars and kebab joints. we're gonna hit the old town today and then have another kebab. until then, sköal to everyone
