went back to the hotel after updating my internet stuff for free in livingstone, and waited for the overland truck meeting at 6pm, was a bit concerned that it was only me there for it, but then found one other girl, she had flown from Sydney, to jo burg, to Victoria fgalls,Zimbabwe, where we were origionally meant to meet, and then it was changed to zambia cos of the troubles in zim, so she got a taxi across the border to zambia, paid for a visa, and then at six we were both waiting for the truck when the phone rings in the hostel to tell us that the truck was in Zimbabwe, and we're in the wrong country!
So we organize to meet it at the border the next morning, and start the tour from there.

got up at 6.30 and went to meet the truck, they agreed to pay for the visa for su for the mix up,and got the intro to everyone, and started to drive, went straight thru zim, and hit the Botswana border, two of the girls on the truck were still drinking from the night before, which was a good sign for me! We get to the border after 100 foot and mouth checks, which are pointless, we had to hide all the meat on the truck every time!
One of the drunk girls nearly wasn't let into the country cos she scribbled on her visa form!
We get in and go to the campsite, and set up the tents, and go straight on out game drive, in the lashing rain! Saw some llamas, warthogs and hippos and a few others, but because it was the rain season and water was plentiful, the animals were away from the rivers
Next was th esun set cruise, where we saw some cool animals, hippos, crocs and stuff, and then headed back to camp, me two dutch girls on the cruise, who I'd been talking to in jolly boys but had no recollection of talking to, apparently the conversation got quite ranchy! But I had no idea!
