Our last few days in Ireland were filled with catching up with rellies. It has been so nice seeing everyone again and the kids are really going to miss their cousin Traolach who at age 10 is the closest in age to them. Aunty Cathleen threw us a banquet at her house on our last day as only she knows how. Aunty Dot and Uncle Peter from Australia were there to join us, just passing through Cobh on their holidays. It is sad to say goodbye to everyone but we hope they'll be coming out to see us in a year or so.
We spent a few hours in Cork on our last day, Andrew had to get another coffee from the Cork Coffee Roasters as decent coffee is very hard to find in Ireland. We went to Fitzgerald Park which is a lovely park just out of the city centre and had a picnic. The kids loved the playground there.
Not looking forward to the long flights home but it will be nice to get home after living out of a suitcase for 5 weeks. Bye bye Ireland, we'll miss your awesome scenery, the 40 shades of green and our rellies.
