Where I stayed
I have already described that walk in a 2008 message, but I had stopped at Ramazan's restaurant. Last year I have been a bit more courageous. I have stopped again at Ramazan's of course, but, before, I have walked until the ancien town of Aperlae.
It is a half an hour extra walk, and half an hour more to come back of course. The walk is easy and well marked. At first you cross a flat land without any vegetation during 15 mn, then you arrive to another cove and follow the seaside. A small isolated house by the sea, a small "pansiyon", tombs here and there, even in the sea.
No remains from the ancient town of Aperlae except the remparts, but from the top of the hill the view is superb.
