First stop in Malaysia. Tioman island is like stepping back in time. Just a walking path along the edge of the island dotted with little clusters of wooden bungalows. The rest of the island is mountainous jungle. We got to the island by a two hour bone shaking trip in a speedboat. The locals here are really chilled out. Its hard not to be living in this place. I met one french doctor who came here for a holiday eleven years ago and never left.
