Day 84 – March 29 Salalah, Oman
The city is nondescript with no particular
attractions. But it is far enough south that it receives some of the
monsoon rains. As a result, parts of the area have coconut
plantations and more greenery than you see in Muscat. After a quick
look around the town we went to a fabulous hotel on the beach and
spent a few hours there eating lunch and enjoying the beautiful
seaside setting. The area has several hotels and is a vacation
destination for Omanis and tourists from the Emirates and many
European countries.
