Just spent three fun filled nights in the Basque resort town of San Sebastian in Spain. If anyone goes to spain they should come here! It may not have much sightseeing in the way of fancy monuments and buildings (although the natural beauty of this town is outstanding). It is however a very chilled out, fun place to visit. It has three beaches that are always packed, including one surf beach. We stayed in a hostel in old town, which was great because in old town everything is very close, lots of shops, bars and people everywhere.

The day of arrival I almost died going for a run up the hill overlooking the town in the afternoon heat. I happened to meet Chris and Jess who were on the bus with me, us and some others went to the Surf beach with some cheap bottles of Sangria and red wine. We spent the evening enjoying this great Jazz festival that was on, me and Chris ended up hanging out with four aussie girls we met (both of us forgot our cameras which sucked).

The second day we hung around on the beach for the day then had a traditional siesta. Me and Chris started drinking about seven (it was happy hour) in the local bar by ourselves, many pints of beer amd sangria later we ended up in a random bar having lost all the Busabout people we had been drinking with (at some point in the evening). We ended up skinny-dipping on the beach around 4am with Jill (a girl Chris knew from Italy) and another American guy, while trying to avoid the local cops and a sand grooming machine.

Finally did some sightseeing on the final day, went for a swim out to the island in the middle of the bay with Chris and Amber (another aussie girl). The three of us ended up drink cheap wine on the beach, before hitting the bars. We partyed most of the night with a bunch of Busabout people (Jarrod and Shane had turned up again).

The next day on the bus was not pretty to say the least......

San Sebastian has definately been the highlight of Spain so far.
