What I did

After the hustle of the Ngurah Rai airport it was a relief to get to the resort. In this case my Father in Law spared no expense putting us up in Ayana on the Jimbaran coastline. As we were being signed in I tried to take in the magnificent view over looking the complex out towards the sea.

Our luck was to continue this holiday. Due to it being low season and an availability of accommodation, the receptionist asked if we would like a free upgrade…and what an upgrade. We were each given our own private villa with pools in the courtyard. We had really struck it lucky!

In the evening we went to the Jimbaran coast to have seafood and to be serenaded by a group of locals. In all honesty it felt a bit uncomfortable when sat at the dinner table wondering whether to continue eating or to stop and listen to them. We tipped them for their efforts though and enjoyed our meal.

Watersports

The next day was about water sports in South Kuta. I have never done any watersports, so it was a great experience zooming around on the jet ski, before doing a bit of instructed deep sea diving (not that deep in honesty).
