20th: The Blue ridge parkway, what an amazing road. I'ts described as the worlds largest landscaping project, and almost devoid of traffic because it's closed to any commercial vehicles. Camping tonight at one of the many state forest campsites, this one is particularly scenic as it's next to the NC arboretum.
Very nice lunch at cafe Swiss in a town called Little Switzerland, just off the Blue ridge parkway. Our meal included huge amounts of hickory smoked pork which was mouthwatering.
21st: Many motorbikes and cyclists out on the the Blue ridge parkway today and no wonder given the lack of traffic, I would say we pass only one car ever ten or so minutes.
