it was a big day out
7 Hr drive from Key West to Orlando, arrive at midnight
wake at 5 am for Bus trip to Kennedy
2 Hr bus trip to Kennedy
2 hrs at Kennedy Space Center visitor center
30min Bus trip to Causeway viewing area
4 Hrs waiting in the Florida Heat - eating hot dogs and drinking coke
watch the Lunch , 3 min - simply awesome ( Launch was put at risk due to an unidentified ball bearing found lying in the shuttle cargo bay area 30 min. prior to launch !)
3 Hrs Bus ride back to Orlando
