We have really been lazy since we got here on Sunday, getting into some accomodation (cheap and cheerful but with a balcony for relaxing with a book) and trying to sort out trains and buses for the next couple of stages of our trip. Every bar here has someone who is more than happy to give you the heads up about the best route to take, and places to go which has been fantastic! Caught a football match on our first day Fulham vs Stoke which was ace.
We have managed to catch a Kathakali dance show, which is a traditional form of dance-drama heavily based on facial expressions, elaborate costumes and make-up! It was absolutely bonkers but very absorbing, hopefully catch another show in Kochi to try and grasp it a bit more!
Other than that we have eaten very well and are happy we are getting a plan together. We move on on Monday, so better make the most of the downtime as we really pick up pace from here.
