Hello,

Today we leave on our cruise.  Our vessel is a commercial cargo ferry with the top three levels reserved for passengers.  We had 150 passengers, a cafeteria/theater, and a bar/lounge.  What else could you ask for, we have everything.  It was raining off and on throughout the cruise, so we stayed in and watched documentaries and caught up on journals and postcards and rested.

The boat left port at 4 PM and I basically rested the whole day and watched the Motorcycle Diaries after dinner.  You guys should see this movie, it is pretty good.  It is all in spanish, so you need to get the sub-title version.

Tuesday, the 23rd, marked my half sab (half way through my sabatical) of my overseas trip.  I have now been overseas for 30 days.  I can not believe it has been a month so far, it feels soooo much longer, I have seen so much and been to so many places.  For my half sab Danielle and I partied all night and made some new friends.  Tami is an Australian lady we meet on the bus tour before the cruise.  Willem is from Holland and we meet him that night.  We also meet Steven that night whom is English.  We had a great time and at the end of the night we closed the bar and they kicked us out.  It was a lot of fun.  That day we were also in open water and had relatively calm seas, 1 to 1-1/2 meter waves.  The whole boat was rocking and we were sliding everywhere.  That was fun too, to watch the waves breaking on the bow of the ship.

The overall cruise was a lot of fun and we meet some great people which we ended up continuing on with once we left the ship on Thursday when we got to Puerto Natales.  The scenery was mostly mountains in the background as we traveled through the fyords.  Hopefully I will be able to get pictures up shortly, but we are currently having problems with viruses and loosing pictures on all these random computers we are connecting to.

Talk to you guys later,
Greg

ps...only a month before I am stateside again.
