First day of June tomorrow! Which means only a few more days of waiting! I have every thing I need so all that's needed now is to zip up my back pack, close my suitcase and finish my last three shifts at work (and then drive to the airport of course).
It is the strangest feeling ever knowing that I'm about to leave my home (even if only for two months) and travel half way round the world on my own. Still, I am excited as anything to prove to the world again that Kiwis can in fact fly and go off and explore a small part of Europe.
I'm going to miss my family and friends more than anything, but I promise you all I'll Skype, e-mail, Facebook and send out lots of postcards to keep in touch!
I have a list of places I'd like to go and visit in England as well as France - visiting Paris is a biggie on my list!! - and would love any ideas on things to see and do. My sister's teacher helpfully suggested to do everything I possibly can, and I do aim to take this advice, but ideas I may not think of myself are definitely going to be appreciated!
For those demanding pictures, I have bought myself a new digital camera (Sony Cybershot, will review it at some stage for your reference) and got my hands on 24 Gigs' worth of memory cards so rest assured there will be plenty of photos for you all to see!
That's about all I can think of (I still suck at writing things in case you hadn't noticed).
Arohanui!
