Feb. 1 -  We caught the bus at La Penita for the 1.5 hour ride to PV - $7 CAD each!  PV is an hour ahead so we had to leave early to meet Brian and Diane by noon PV time.  They had stayed a the Costa del Sol for a few days but now were booked into the same hotel as us - Villa del Palmar.  We met them, had our welcoming cervaça and took a short walk to a mall nearby.  That night we made reservations at this fancy, shmancy restaurant: Bogart´s because it is Brian´s birthday tomorrow.  It´s made up in a Morrocan theme - Casablanca you know.  The waiters are all duded up like arabs and bring the ladies a cushion to put their feet on at dinner.  It´s so dark in there you needed flashlights to read the menu.  The food was very good.
We took the famous PV city bus downtown around 9:00 PM to a bar called Andele´s.  How do you explain Andele´s? Well, it´s a place about as big as your garage, it´s wall to wall with gringos about our age, there´s a crowded dance floor and rock and roll music constantly blaring. For a fee, you can dress up in a sombrero and ride a live donkey into the bar and onto the dance floor.  Sometimes a cute little waitress come by and pours two shots of tequila down your throat all the time blowing a whistle.  Then she pinches your tits.  Every once in a while, they play ¨Living Next Door to Alice¨ but the chorus, sung by everybody in the place, is: ´Alice, Alice, who the fuck is Alice?´.  Got it?  Only in Mexico.

Feb 2 - We met Diane and Brian for breakfast a short walk away then Brian and I hung around the del Palmar while the girls went shopping.  We said our goodbyes around 2:00 PM and caught the bus back to Rincon.  It was great seeing them.
That evening we went to the outdoor Bavarian Gardens for dinner with Bob and Lorraine from the Brisamar and Murray and Jerri from the La Penita trailer park.  Scrumtuous food - weinerschnitzel, sauerkraut, beets, a salad and potatoes.  The band is ¨The Redneck Mothers¨ and are they ever good.  Merilynn bought one of their CDs.  Later that night another group ¨The Perez Brothers¨ entertained us as well.  We are having way too much fun.
