Huacachina, a place only for sandboarding and seeing the Deserts of Peru. The dune buggies weren't bad either. I stayed in a place run by total cowboys and thier sandboarding trips. They had these buggies that they'd built with huge 4 liter engines the drove across the sand at break neck speeds, they claimed 130kph and it felt like it. The sandboarding involved a bit of wood, some kitchen floor wax, no instruction and of course some massive sand dunes. Great fun if a little dangerous as i met a few people with injuries and scare stories. Apparently one guy died when sand boarding drunk down the dune behind the hostel.
