We arrived back in Australia yesterday after a week in New Zealand.
When we first arrived in Auckland we did all the boring stuff that had to be done, such as cleaning up the basement and sorting out Gav's things. It all went well but was glad when we had finished.
On Friday night Zoe came over to spend the weekend with us and we spent all of Saturday day out at Piha where Gav got a chance to go surfing while me and Zoe had breakfast at Piha Cafe.
When Gav got back from the surf we went for a walk up to the waterfall. Both the walk and the waterfall was absolutelu beautiful. On the way back, Gav and Zoe had a swim in the river, I walked through it and it was freezing.
When we got back we went to dinner with Gav's parents in St Heliers then a few beers with Byron.
On Sunday we took Zoe back to Pukekohe where we saw Wyn & Steve and got a chance to admire their fantastic out door entertainment area.
All in all we had a great time, saw many of Gav's friends, most of them unexpectedly, which was great, spent some quality time with Zoe, Allan and Raewyn and Gav got to surf his beloved Piha once more before we head off.
The next three weeks in Oz are going to be busy with packing and organising the last bits and pieces...
