Hi,
Ive had a nightmare trying to find a decent internet cafe or even one at all. After i got to San Diego i stayed in Ocean Beach just outside of town. This was a nice place unspoilt by tourists and had a good atmosphere at night. After exploring the town i discovered San Diego to be an amazing place. My kind of Town Sinatra would say. The business district is large and shopping is good too. There is the gaslamp quarter which is where all the nightlife happens and is a bit like temple bar in Dublin but cheaper. San Diego isnt too big and is clean and friendly, not to mention boiing hot.
I visited the baseball ground and found my way into the stadium on matchday, i didnt wanna watch the game though because Baseball is Sh*te. I got onto the pitch and met a few players warming up. I had no idea who they were but i said i was a reporter from the UK doing a piece on US Sport and drugs. (There is massive problems with baseball stars getting bans for steroids.) Stopped off in Old Town on the way back which is San Diego as it started. Its kept quite original so it looks good.
I spent the evening by a fire on the beach with some Irish girls and a random Hobo who was actually a good singer. (guitar and all). Nursing a hangover i headed north towards LA for more adventure.
