Hi,
The reason i have appeared dead the last week is because i practically have been. Dying of hunger that is. We stayed two nights in Nadi, which is a very undesirable town and after having a good night in the hotel there with Cava bowls and a few Bounty Rums, we headed for the island of Mana. This is one of the bigger islands and is also very beautiful. That is when its not a tropical storm al la the 1st 2 days. Spending all day in a dorm is not fun! Although the last 4 days have been amazing. Loads of new friends, loads of Beach rugby/volleyball and plenty of sun and fun. There are 2 backpackers and a resort and a tiny shanty village. So after a few days you know nearly all the locals and most of the guests. The hostel staff and bar were good but after bed bug bites and eating rice and mixed veg for the same lunch and dinner for a week i am famished. I appreciate home cooking soooooooo much now.
We have just arrived back in Nadi for a couple of days and have met up with Greg, the irish lad we spent time in NZ with (he was on sky every week dressed as a leprechaun. Bastard!) So we are gonna decide what to do this week. Fiji play Samoa next Sat so we will go down to watch that. (Rugby Holiday).
I forgot to bring my photos from the hostel on Mana which includes so good fire stick action from the local show and many drunken pics and videos, so i will upload them soon. I have a couple of pics from the last few days though. Enjoy.
