Our last day onboard the Carnival Legend was bitter sweet, we didn't want to leave the hot weather and the beautiful beaches, but we were ready to get back to our own apartment (a little bigger than our cruise ship room) and normal life. The day was pretty chill, with packing and lounging pool side. They had one of the staff carve a big block of ice in to an Indian Chief head in 10 minutes!
Every night on our cruise we walked in to our room with a cute little towel animal after dinner. Our favourite was the monkey which actually hung from the ceiling! The little details that the housekeeping and general staff did, made our stay that little bit more awesome. We watched the last show on board the boat and had our last dinner with our amazing dining room crew at Truffles Restaurant. That dining crew had over the week spontaneously entertained us with serenades, dances and costumes. We attended the future cruise talk as we were sure that we would do a Carnival cruise at least one more time. Looking back, it was a great vacation.
