We were told before our cruise that Belize was a very rough place and it was recommended that of all places an excursion through the ship should be organised for this port of call. The shallow waters and underdeveloped port meant that the ship had to anchor off shore and anyone who wanted to leave and explore Belize would need to take a tender boat, which picks you up from the ship. Tendering is a funny little process. They pretty much just open a side door of the ship and you hop on to a little boat, via a small little bridge/walkway of course!

We picked an excursion that took us to a cute little island called Rendezvous Cay. It was paradise. This cute little Island only had a bout 4 palm trees and could be swum around in 30 minutes, if not less! The snorkelling here was amazing. Again we were guided around to little reef spots to check out the "locals". We truly enjoyed this little trip. We soaked up some rays after our snorkel, before heading back to the ship.

The seas ended up being a little rough, so we ended up having some Gravol and going to be a little early, actually I should rephrase that, Payal went to bed early while Gavin stayed up late another night watching Miami Heat play basketball and reading his Grisham book!
