Arrive in Wales off Ferry

The only problem we encountered with the ferry crossing was the disembarkation in Holyhead. It took us over half an hour to get off the ferry and through customs/passport control. As we were queuing, we assumed the delay was due to stringent checks on vehicles and documentation. However, as we approcahed the exit, we discovered that no-one wanted to even see our passports or anyone elses for that matter - the whole delay was due to a set of traffic lights!!
As it was late, we stayed overnight at one of the first campsites we saw signposted, and then drove home the following day through Snowdonia National Park and Shropshire.
We had enjoyed our travels, but were glad to be home. There is nothing quite like sleeping in your own bed...
