City Gate Motel

Arrived at the motel (which was the nearest possible campervan park) to take the penultimate space. We were still 6.5 km from the centre, but this wasn’t going to be too much of a problem as there was a bus route past the end of the drive. We decided to test it out that evening and took a bus into town as soon as we had parked up.

Not knowing quite where to get off, we stayed on the bus till it reached the end of its route. This bought us out near the theatre district and the quay, so we walked along the dock and had a drink in one of the many converted industrial buildings, shed 22.

Later we found a great little Indian restaurant for dinner where we were amazed at how little the other patrons knew about Indian cuisine…
