Well, back on the bike again, but no sore butt to start with - the rest day seemed to do the trick.
A cool morning, and fog as we rode out of Streaky Bay. In fact, I couldn't see much further than 10 metres in front of me, and even less when my sunnies fogged up - bit of a worry when your leading the pack!!
Soon lifted after about 15 kms, and we did the 131kms in fairly quick time, reaching Wudinna (pronounced Wood'nah) by about 2pm. The weather was clear and warm for most of the ride which was great. The team's spirit seems to be high on this first day of week 3, which consists of 5 days riding through South Australia, visiting places such as Port Augusta and Port Pirie, before our rest day this Sunday at Burra (anybody been there??)
Our leader 'Lucky' Jim was back on the bike again, which was good to see. However, Trevor (Canberra) is still recovering from his nasty dose of the flu and therefore riding in a support vehicle.
On the way we had lunch at a nice park in a small town called Minnipa, which had a uniquely named public convenience.
Wodinna itself also has its own iconic feature - a tribute to the Australian farmer.
We are staying at the local school gym and will be having tea at the Uniting Church.

Go up into Gilead and take balm!
By the way you are going you will be in Gilead by Friday.
Balm is there- as is Dorothy's unquent-which answers your question.
But would the good book lead you astray? If not please send me a post card from Gilead!
A look on the Gatzby map shows the debt collector is about 2 days behind. For the sake of those at home keep going!
