Slept in till 8.30am, after 2 little journeys outside the Church during the night (Marcus got up early and went for walk).

Rest day - yay - no riding and no butt cream!!

Leisurely breakfast and then off to town. I brought a air matress for my aching bones, plus a pillow from IGA - only $9 - a real bargain! A good sleep from here on in.

Then had coffee and bacon and cheese buns (then I had a steak, bacon and cheese pie and Marcus wolfed down a chilli and cheese bun - boy will he be on fire today)

Then down to clearing the backlog of blogs (almost a rhyme again?).

Aso cleaned the 'beast' (I assume Marcus gave 'Milton' a little wash and polish??).

Tea again at the pub.

Ready for the ride to Wudinna tomorrrow - only 131kms - a training ride really.

Stay tuned for the next episode in the enthralling lives of Gatzby and Marcus Maximus!

Marcus art thou too isolated?
To give the bycycle a name idicates a serious relationship has developed!
Riding Milton indeed!

Congratulations for reaching the other side-and to me -for my first and last text!

When Dorothy arrives I shall ask her to return to you all with soothing unquents!

p.s. I sent this before but to where I know not!

Homeward bound
Hi Mark & all you other fit, wonderful cyclists. Congratulaions for making it over half way, your distances & speeds have been most impressive.

Gary, the office has been most interested in your progress. Well done on making it to SA.
Your achievements however have been somewhat diminished by your recent luxurious living (I refer to your purchase of an air matress and $9 IGA pillow). We would like to know if you are getting caviar flow out for dinner tomorrow tonight? All the best for today's 'training ride', and don't forget to listen out for the banjos. All the best.
