Cold start to the day, and mainly cross/head winds to Streaky Bay. It was quite a tough 109kms, averaging just under 25kms/hour. I led out front again for a lot of the ride, but got some assistance from Marcus, Alan, Trevor (Qld) and Kevin.

We also did a 20km 'fast group' session, which blew the cobwebs out - we averaged over 30kms/hour with some headwinds - good effort!

We are now cycling along the coastline, which has some nice views.

Arrived in Streaky Bay about 1pm - now done over 2,000 kms and half way there!!!!

Streaky Bay itself is picturesque, and a nice looking town to go with it (some lovely old houses).

We are staying at the local Catholic Church and had a great meal at the Hotel.

Looking forward to our rest day tomorrow.
