Stunning ride up via twisty roads to reach a spectacular Wat at the top with fantastic views over Chiang Mai.
On the way back down stopped off at a waterfall where local kids were enjoying themselves in the water.
The afternoon was spend exploring some of Chiang Mai, something I haven't had chance to do so far and visited the 2 most famous Wats located in the city, Wat Phra Sing & Wat Chedi Luang. Ive seen some pretty amazing looking Wats on this trip so far but these two are differently up there with my favourites, stunning architecture and detail outside and equally impressive inside.
Gonna give myself a day off tomorrow :-), promised myself before I left that every 7 days or so I would just chill out and do very little to recharge the batteries, exploring is tiring work !
