Mum's poem read out on Boxing day
The Family
I can't believe im here at last
Three whole years have almost past
A trip of a lifetime a dream come true
Time with my family under skies so blue
I'm so proud of you all for what you have done
A beautiful home good company and fun
My thanks to my eldest son Beeb though its true
Without him I'd never have chance to see you
He's looked after me 24/7 on route
Made blogs of my phopars then broadcast to boot
Our Paulette has opened her home up for me
And Lyndon has fed me for no extra fee
Natty has guided me round every shop
And Lolly has turned into my own Mrs Mop
Andy's a nice lad a pleasure to see
He drinks and he smokes almost as many as me
Charlie is lovely a sweet little chap
I've only seen Meg when she is taking a nap
It's a happy contented feeling this year
One I will hold in my heat very dear
A family Christmas like ones long since past
I imagine the time will go ever so fast
This memory will stay until my life ends
My loved ones, my family, my very best friends
Wherever I am whether skies grey or blue
A peice of my heart will remain here with you
So when gorging next Christmas and all getting fat
Remember I love you, from soppy old bat
