Jumping out of a plane at 15 thousand feet has never been something that appealed to me, but when in Rome.....
Sky diving was quite possibly the best part of my trip so far, and certainly one of the greatest things I've ever done. It was just euphoria during the freefall, I can't really describe how good it was. Sitting on the edge of the plane, ready to go, is totally nerve wrecking, and the first second when gravity takes you is terrifying, but it's so worth it. The view itself was worth the money, never mind the adrenline rush. To my left the sun was setting in the west, and to my right there was a full moon shining brightly. Looking down over lake Taupo and the snow capped mountains in the distance...... unreal.
I'm going to stop now, because there's just no point in trying to describe how incredible this was. If you ever get the chance, don't hesitate.
