Well it's goodbye to South America! This place has been amazing. We've seen some breath-taking sights, met some wonderful people and done some amazing things.

This continent has surpassed my every expectation. The things we've seen and done here will live on in my memory forever. The people here are so friendly and welcoming, it's actually hard to leave. The highlight for me has been Iguazu Falls. Nothing I've ever seen compares with this marvel of nature. It just beats the Inca Trail and Machu Picchu into first place. Those four days nearly killed me, but it was worth it. Seeing the Lost City for the first time is something neither of us will be likely to forget. And a football match in Brazil that's never likely to be surpassed.

And of course the people we've met along the way. Sean the cheeky chappy Scouser whom we've met up with three times in various countries, and we'll be meeting up again with in New Zealand. Claire and Dennis from Melbourne, who had the right idea and travelled the world for their honeymoon. Dan and Jenny from Toronto who convinced me that not all Canadians were d1cks. Everyone we met in those few crazy days in La Paz, especially Ryan who has inspired me to travel for the next 10 years. The Lads and lasses from the Inca Trail. Our beautiful wee guide Sylvia that took care of us so well. All our guides, from Wilson on our first day in Rio, to Claudio our hostel owner in Santiago who guided us around the local bars. My beautiful wee Ana, and the unforgettable Cristobal.
