And I thought Chicago was cold?  I arrived in Milwaukee and the cold hit me like a slap in the face. Well, my face had gone numb after a few seconds, so more like a punch in the gut.  Well, actually I don't have much of my guts left, so more like a kick in the balls.  No, my balls retreated back up inside my body, so more like a baseball bat to the back of the head.  It's cold.  Ridiculously cold.  The weather forecast said it was -2 degrees Fahrenheit, and with the windchill factor it was about -20.  I thought "shit thats cold!", but I didn't realise how cold until I converted it to Celsius and discovered -2 was -19!!

MINUS 19 DEGREES CELSIUS!

I've never felt anything like this.  I've been through the Andes, Alps and Pyrenees and they weren't even close to being this cold.  10 seconds with out gloves on and my hands start to burn.  It even hurts to breathe, the cold air attacking my lungs if I take a deep breath.  Now I really wish I brought a coat.  And didn't lose one of my gloves in New York.

On the brightside I'm back in Milwaukee with the people I love, and I get to see a lot of them tonight.  :)
