Day 6
-We leave our Bethlehem Castle
Hotel where Yaser Arafat's Jerusalem headquarters.
Raining w/wind (Hurricane force gusts.)
-Passed Rachel's tomb
-Passed  Jerusalem again
-Gibia - 1 Sam. 14:5
-We passed  by Mispa & Beth-el
-1400 BC-Gen. 33-Jacobs well-Greek Orthadox convent church where Jesus met the Samaritan women in Samaria-John 4. (See postcard pic) 1 Kings, 11 Kings

-Then, we come to Samaria, capital of the Northern kingdom (10 tribes minus Benjamin & Judah's.) we climb a mountain & see various sites:
We see Herod's temple & throne room in time of Christ. This summer home here in Samaria .
We saw Temple of Augustus that Herod built.
Jezebel & Ahab's Ivory Tower and their Burial site.
-John 3 in 1st yr. of Jesus public ministry.. God so loved the world...(spiritual water mentioned)
We pass Terraced hills from Byzantine era.

-Herod didn't like Joppa, so he came & made a Maritime City on the Mediterranean Sea: Cesaria Maritime -Here, Paul imprisoned for 2 yrs. Paul preached frm  this amphitheater( Herod Agrippa died here eaten by worms when he accepted to be worshiped as a God. ) Here where underwater cement invented. Herod made Hippodrome. Best archaeological techniques used here.( stacks in spike electrical current to find Bysantine streets & walls.  Also place where Paul preached to Agrippa & he said he was almost persuaded to believe.
-Crusader's fortress w/moat, drawbridge,  early Byzantine church, aqueduct.  Persian time after 586ad. Tower for navigation.
-Mount Carmel w/ view to
Valley of  Megguido underground tunnel. A Japanese brother is there w guitar & all sing...Our God is an Awesome. God...
We travel thru Benjamin , Efraim,
Sleeping  in  Nazareth Jewish Hotel at las. We are tired of the Arab "swarmas" (pita filled w/ chicken, lamb.)
